1.  There once was a Bucket

Who lived west of Nantucket

A happy full bucket was he!

He splished and he splashed

And he giggled and laughed

With the Flower and the Tree!

Refrain: Splish Splash Giggle n’ Laugh,

Splish Splash Giggle n’ Laugh,

Splish Splash Giggle n’ Laugh,

A happy full Bucket was he!

2. Well, not every bucket who lived

West of Nantucket

Could splash and play like he,

He decided right then, to splash

This new friend, to see if he could be:

A happy new friend who could pretend

To be a pirate on the blue sea

A happy new friend who could pretend

To be a pirate on the blue sea

Refrain: Splish Splash Giggle n’ Laugh,

Splish Splash Giggle n’ Laugh,

Splish Splash Giggle n’ Laugh,

Be a pirate on the blue sea!

3.  The story goes on they say that it’s true

That he found a “hole” inside

Well he tried and he tried to get filled back up

From his pain he tried to hide -

But he found it right there, to scare his despair

From his bucket he could not hide

The UNIVERSE was there, he felt it’s care -

All the STARS in him did reside!

Refrain: Splish Splash Giggle n’ Laugh,

Splish Splash Giggle n’ Laugh,

Splish Splash Giggle n’ Laugh,

All the stars in him did reside!

4.  Now most of us are like the Bucket

We have a hole inside, we try and we try

To get filled back up, from our pain we often hide!

But we’ve got it right there, if we can just care

And take a look inside! We might be surprised

At what we find, it heals our heart and our mind!

Refrain: Splish Splash Giggle n’ Laugh,

Splish Splash Giggle n’ Laugh,

Splish Splash Giggle n’ Laugh,

Be healed in heart and mind!

All the stars in him did reside!

Be a pirate on the blue sea!

And be a happy full Bucket - - - - with ME!

With ME!  With Meeeeeeeee!
